Amanita's Delight

 

This custom coffee table intentionally resembles Amatina Muscaria,the red-and-white mushroom known to produce hallucinations and psychedelic effects.

The top is made from bookmatched Claro Walnut burl cookie-slabs. The large center voids were filled with epoxy and India Ink. The smaller cracks were filled with a homemade white paste made from bleaching the sawdust collected from sanding.
